Description: FLW Outdoors has announced it will bring the $2 million Forrest Wood Cup, presented by Castrol, to Lake Murray, giving the Capital City/Lake Murray Country region the largest bass-fishing championship in the nation next year. The event is expected to draw thousands of bass fishing fans to the region and provide a significant boost to the state's economy. FLW officials predict that the event will have an economic impact of approximately $40 million on the midland's region. The Colonial Center is the official site for the weigh-ins. The trade show is being held next door at the Columbia Convention Center. Country singer TRACY BYRD will perform a FREE concert prior to the weighin on Sunday, August 17th at 4 P.M.
