The Colonial Center is perfect for large or small events, depending upon individual needs. The 17,000-square foot arena floor is ideal for large affairs, including galas, and dinners for 600-800 people. The arena can also be transformed into an intimate venue with unique lighting and curtaining over the seats.
The front atrium is an ideal location for Cocktail parties or smaller affairs with a dramatic view of the city. The lobby features a unique architectural designed atrium with a glass façade consisting of 65 foot high glass panels, and plenty of natural light flowing through the space.
Centerplate, concessionaire for the Colonial Center, is available to cater your function no matter how big or small your needs. Volume utilizes a full-service kitchen located inside of the Colonial Center for easy servicing of your event.
The Colonial Center is the home of the University of South Carolina Men's and Women's Basketball, as well as host to a myriad of events that will have “something for everyone,” such as big-name concerts, family shows, trade shows, and religious events. The Center is conveniently located in the center of it all in the capital city, Columbia, South Carolina, and is easily accessible from all directions by major highways. |

Entertainment Suites
The Colonial Center features 4 private Entertainment Suites that offers a unique entertaining opportunity. These suites feature seating for up to 50 people, private restrooms, private bar, and personal catering opportunities. The suites are ideal for entertaining clients, hosting employee outings and celebrating milestones.
Entertainment Suite pricing varies by event. The prices are based upon a package price for a minimum of 36 people that includes:
• 36 tickets to the event
• 2 hour all-you-can-eat buffet (menus are on the opposite pages)
• 2 hours of unlimited draft beer and wine
• Commemorative gift for each guest
There is an additional per person price for up to 50 people.

Luxury Boxes
The Colonial Center has 41 luxury suites located on the main concourse level. In addition there are 4 hospitality suites and one large entertainment suite. They provide the local corporate community, as well as, private parties, the opportunity to enjoy events in a customized entertainment atmosphere with clients, employees, or families. Boxes can be rented on an event-by-event basis. Each is fully carpeted with ample standing and sitting room for 10-16 people. |
